any news on this beautiful girl yet? She is the spitting image of our Cleo. If I hadnt had Cleo since March I would have been convinced it was her. What is she crossed with? The picture makes her look very lurchery rather than cross breed in general. Have you considered checking the lurcher websites/countryman's weekly etc?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

possible sighting of lulu a friend of a friend lives on hooley estate and she showed him poster and he thinks he has seen her around the social club at st margarets avenue on dog training day which is a thrusday, so have been driving round the area, i do not want to poster this area in case it frightens them from going to dog training. i will be attending dog training next thursday with her brother alfie so please everybody keep everything crossed that it is lulu and in the meantime i will be visiting the estate regularly in the hope of getting sight of her xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just a point, but sometimes posters are removed because they have been placed on private property or common land and trees. If thsi could be the case, then suggest that lamp posts and BT poles are used instead. Don't forget to keep going to the rescues, Lulu has no microchip and could slip through the net even if they have a poster there.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

the posters all seem to be up again at the moment they seem to stay up for a few days and then get taken down around thursday friday i would love to catch them being taken down and find out why but they seem to be doing this in the daytime. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I AM OUT ALL DAY ..... LOOKING FOR YIFTAKI.... I WILL CHECK YOUR POSTERS .... I AM JUST PRINTING OFF MORE FOR LULU! I KNOW YOUR HEART IS BREAKING....... REMEMBER THE POWER OF PRAYER.... AND THE POWER OF POSTERS..... THEY BOTH WORK!!!!!!!! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Can you get the Postmen to help - local sorting office. a) to look out for Lulu and b) maybe deliver someflyers. Do you have a local community support officer? If so they may be able to help spot people removing the posters and ask them why? Would some of the newsagents locally be willing to put flyers into their papers (they put enough other rubbish in them!) Keep positive Lulu is out there somewhere and waiting to rejoin here family. It might be a good idea for you to go around the various rescue centres and check with the RSPCA I think they move animals around depending on the space available. I really feel for you - good luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

the posters had beent aken down again from the usual areas also the one at the meades park by chipstead rugby club had been taken down which is a new one missing. These posters are being taken down during the day as they are all there when i drive past to go work and when i come home they are gone! Im not actually sure what to do next with no sightings to be honest i have put flyers through doors in the area and have contacted police, wardens, vets, battersea, papers & rspca. i have a very sad brother at home that is pining very much for his much loved lulu and we are missing her so much and just pray for her safe return and i would like to thank everyone that are putting posters out and looking out for her xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi harvard. so sorry no news on lulu. i put a few posters up in hooley couple of days ago and actually wrote on them a note to the people taking them down a very polite " please please can you leave the posters in place as we are desparate for sightings and that without posters we wont get sightings , i also asked if they would phone the number on the poster and talk to us.........guess what , posters gone and no phone call....... hope they never loose anything precious to them !!! this was at the ushall places they keep going from ie shabdon pk, crossroads etc. i dont know where you go when you have not heard a thing , i am so sorry and thinking of you. yiffy appears to keep crossing the a217 which is very frightning, just wish he wasnt so nervous and would give us half a chance to catch him......... keeping everything crossed for you and lulu.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If posters are being taken down it usually means one thing. That someone knows her whereabouts.I t might be better to downsize them and either post through letter boxes or hand out to people. If cars are constantly parked in area also put small ones on their windscreen. Yasa has given lots of options for you. I do hope Lulu is soon back home with you. Stay safe sweetie. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi all, I had sight of Yiftaki Friday night around 12 in Star Lane Hooley. there is no sign of Lulu but the posters I put up in our area were taken down Thursday daytime along with Yiftaki's other than one along markedge lane coulsdon where they only took Lulu's down so we think someone in the area may have her. If she was still loose in the area she would have come home. I have looked all round the fields behind us and up to Church Lane. I have a friend checking hte travellers sites for her as they know them and if they havent got her he will ask them to keep a look out for her. I will be going to Battersea tonight but then will be out with new posters as I have taken a picture of her brother that she looks alot likeLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

AND LEFT THE AREA UP HOLLY LANE DIRECTION TO BANSTEAD. I AM AT WORK ALL DAY BUT I WILL CHECK THE TRAVELLERS SITE AT EPSOM TONIGHT. I OFTEN SEE THE TRAVELLERS WALKING THEIR DOGS PASSED MY COTTAGE.... Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows LuLu well. Stay safe LuLu, until we find you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear owner, sorry to hear that Lulu is lost, I lost my dog v similar age: 16 months last week (2/7) in Caterham which is not far from you. It seems a strange coincidence that there are a few of us with missing dogs of similar age in similar are, but maybe I am just suspicious. I will put up posters of Lulu if you can do the same for Whisky. Call all vets, RSPCA, dog wardens, PDSA, Batersea etc. Good luck hope she returns soon. xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
