On Nelly's page (the border terrier that went missing with this cocker spaniel)the owner has written-
"The girls are home! Turns out that all of the media over Facebook has worked. A man from Newport has had them since Friday morning in his shed and contacted a friend who had shared the post this morning. Thank you so so much for all of your help, I can tell you how greatly appreciated we are. We are all feeling very very emotional - best birthday present ever! "
Great news. Enjoy your celebrations!

Sorry to hear that Tufty and Nelly have disappeared. You must be so worried. I will keep an eye out on my walks around the Brockton/Edgmund area. Thinking of you.

Hi RHawkins. Pleased to see you here. We spoke earlier.
This dog went missing with dog Lost ID 101421-Border terrier.
Have advised posters, notifying of chip company, notifying of vets and rescue centres and contacting dog warden daily.
These dogs have never stayed away for so long before but it is a rural area and the crops are high. Owners have been searching and going out again today with their other dogs hoping to get a response around badger sets and rabbit holes in case they are stuck somewhere but they do feel that one dog would have returned even if other was stuck.

RHawkins, can you get an alert for them put out over local radio today? Flyers through doors and contact neighbouring farms in case they have got lost during an adventure sheltered in a distant barn.

Please drop back regularly and update. Plus there are people here who will be leaving posts if they see a Found Dog to match either of yours.
Hope they are home soon.Last edited: 2016-06-19 11:01:13 by Baydogs
