- There's a facebook post from Lostbox with a dog looks very like Jaxon - the dog was found in Meanwood, Leeds roaming near Woodhouse Ridge. He is male, not sure about microchip. Dog warden collecting later. I believe Jaxon's family are aware (from the facebook postings).

- UPDATE FROM FACEBOOK....DAY 14
The tracker dogs came out yesterday and they've picked up his scent in GRAVELLY HOLLOW,they think he's in survival mode now and is on the hunt and move. We would like to do a big search SATURDAY 4th June 1pm and search GRAVELLY HOLLOW if we could meet there. bike riders, dog walkers, walkers everyone welcome to come and help us search. since he's been missing we know you have been walking around Samson woods and Blidworth woods and we would like you to still do this incase he's coming back to these areas were he knows. Thank you for the continuous support x - 2016-06-01 10:20 Saga
- Sometimes it can help to hang a piece of clothing or a blanket with the home scent in a tree where the dog has been spotted together with a bowl of water - it gives them a place to come back to that smells familiar and a place for the owner to begin the search. I drive past the wood a couple of times every day and walk my own dog here so I am keeping an eye out. What part of the woods has he been sighted in?
- 2016-05-25 18:10 Hollieberry
- I keep looking hoping to see if this lovely boy is home I hope he is soon x

- Yes, there is a continuous search with a lot of local people taking part. I have just got back from the woods. Our dogs found scent, he seems to be running a circuit round the woods but they are pretty big.
- 2016-05-23 17:54 Hollieberry
- Is there a such going on for this lovely boy ?
- 2016-05-23 08:19 Doglover

- yes blidworth woods is opposite Samson woods separated via longdale lane. red the article we have checked the banks that run beside the old railway line if that's what is meant by cliffs in the article.

- Doglover I have had Dobermanns for years and would never ever take them near a cliff as they are daft when running about and 2 in particular enjoyed jumping off high places so yes any ledges should be checked.
- 2016-05-22 20:09 Doglover
- OWL. Please get owner to read the article from 2013 as JAXON could be trapped on the same ledge????
- 2016-05-22 19:38 Doglover
- There is an article in a local paper from 2013 where an owner and her dog were rescued from a ledge right near where JAXON has gone missing. http://www.chad.co.uk/news/local/female-and-pet-dog-rescued-from-sansom-woods-1-6217076Last edited: 2016-05-22 19:39:45 by Doglover

- Doglover it is the owner that has registered Jaxon on Dog Lost so I would say their information is correct, the facebook posts were made by a friend of the owner.
I have seen a screenshot from the owner saying "last seen Samson woods off Longdale Lane, Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, Mansfield area"
I would think that Blidworth woods is close by...maybe this is where Jaxon went missing from and the owner has listed the location as the last sighting
Hopefully the owner will confirm which area it is.... - 2016-05-22 18:05 Hollieberry
- Dobermanns can close their ears and switch off .Please make sure you search everywhere he could be close by but not listening. I hope you find him soon.

- Facebook states JAXON WAS LOST IN BLIDWORTH WOODS. Can someone check so information is correct on all sites please.

- Sorry to see that JAXON is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (100384)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
