Delete Hi, just wanted to add that I am still looking for Jacob in the area that was mentioned by the lady who thought she may have seen him in a park with a man in the south east of London around August last year.  You may remember the actual location was moved from the site.  Although a very painful year has past, I just hope and pray that each day that goes by is another day closer to finding this beautiful boy.  I will ALWAYS keep looking for him, wherever I am; and I'm sure there are hundreds of others like me, keeping my eyes open for him.  With much love. I just want him to be home with you x24/01/2010heidi

Delete I have followed Jacobs thread from the begining - can't believe it's a year already - my love and best wishes to everyone involved in the search for him and I truly hope that your perserverance pays off and one day you get him back where he belongs.  Will be raising a glass to Jacob and his Mum and Dad tonight - my thoughts are with you22/01/2010Meeka, North Hampshire Area Co-ordinator.

One year on and I am so saddened that Jacob is still not home. The efforts and lengths that Jon and Shelley (and the Ginger Army!) have gone to throughout their search for Jacob has been amazing, they so deserve that ginger boy back home and tucked up under his duvet!

I know the one year anniversary of Jacob missing would have been a tough day for Jon and Shelley, like every other day in the past year that this nightmare has gone on for. They so desperately want their boy back. Thinking of you and sending lots of hugs. x

Bumped to top for 1yr anniversary.

Delete Hi, just to let you know that Jacob's details were displayed at the Discover Dogs Exhibition at Earl's Court yesterday. There was a pronimant poster on the Bracco Italiano stand. I really hope you get him back for Christmas, you so deserve it.16/11/2009labradorloopy

Delete Hoping and praying that this brings results. I still follow Jacob on here and on his blog and Shelly and Jon could not have done more to find their beloved Jacob. Well done everyone for getting Jacob in the Telegraph. What a wonderful early Christmas present it would be if this brings Jacob home. I for one am wishing just that and I know many many othes are too.

Delete Hi. Sometimes i do believe I am psychic! Havn't checked on Dog Lost in the past week (work & all that) but sitting down this evening my thoughts strayed to Jacob and wondering as I know you do, where is this boy and wouldn,t you want to know, even if the news were not what you are hoping for. Two things. so glad you have a puppy, goes without saying he is not a replacement for Jacob, just another special person in your life. And so glad you located the Plymouth Bracco. I flagged him up after seeing him whilst visiting my daughter in Plympton and have wondered 'what if' ever since. I send my love to you all. Jenny M13/11/2009glamtrash

There will be an article in tomorrow's Daily Telegraph Weekend Section, Sat 14th Nov, featuring Doglost and Jacob......so posted and bumped so you can all be ready to rush out and get a copy first thing tomorrow!

Jon and Shelley's dedication in their search for Jacob, and the fantastic efforts they went to organising and running the joint fundraiser event for Ollie's Fund (research in to canine epilepsy) and Doglost, gave the reporter, Chris (thank you Chris!) a real insight into Doglost, the support and importance of all its helpers/partnersips with organisations and of course the heartache owners of lost dogs go through.

Thanks ruthshaw! I have emailed you.

I am sure Jon and Shelley have contacts in Bracco world that will be able to help this lady....and worth checking too to see how much of this dog's background is known.
