Icewolf - thank you for your update. We are so sorry to hear you have still not been re-united with your beautiful girl. She is very distinctive, and any publicity you could get in the media must be a good thing. Great also that she is microchipped. Stay safe Summer, until you are back home x | 08/01/2009 | Yasa - Co-ordinator - E.Anglia |

Summer is still missing :( and we are feeling very anxious as it has been over 3 months with no leads.
Miss you so much xx | 24/11/2008 | Icewolf |

Looks as if Summer has lots of help and support out there now, so hope it won't be long before she's home. Lots of people at the Suffolk Dog Day looked carefully at her poster and said they would look out for her. x | 17/08/2008 | jimi |

Thanks Gemma, for registering on DL and offering to help Summer's owner, greatly appreciated. I've sent you smaller posters and an A4 one, they have both pics on, hope they help in the search for her. Jan x | 17/08/2008 | Majorjet - Area Co-ordinator Merseyside NW |

Hi Rachel
Im Gemma I work for the Siberian Husky Welfare Association (UK) and I live in Kings Lynn. We have a fundraiser tomorrow in Hilgay so I will distribute some posters and I will also put some up around the area I live, West Winch. I know you might have already but have you got in touch with KLFM radio station as they tend to help when dogs are lost in the area and will do several shout outs during the day. I hope you are reuntied with Summer soon but I will keep my eyes and ears firmly open for her.

HI
Summer has very light eyes yellow/amber in colour with her being a red and white and not the brown eyes that the grey one's have.
Summer is very friendly and can probably be described as over friendly and loves people and very licky; I would also describe her as being bouncy :)
She is a big girl and before she went missing was approx 40kg and quite leggy. | 14/08/2008 | Icewolf |

What a shame it wasn't her. I don't know her breed well but I believe they communicate with each other over huge areas. If this is so would it be possible for you to find someone with others and see if they can track her down with their barking? Clubs may be willing to help out. | 14/08/2008 | jimi |

No :( She has darker eyes - brownish, definitely not blue. | 13/08/2008 | Muddiwarx |

This was cross posted on Labrador Forums where I picked it up.
Does she have blue eyes and would you say she is a bit jumpy around other dogs, only I saw a similar dog (but with blue eyes, and as I said, a bit jumpy with other dogs) in Downham Market this Sunday just gone (10th August).
Unlikley, becuase I think AM's have brown eyes, but let me know. I'll check back here regularly.

So sorry to see that this beautiful girl is missing. I see you are nr. Brandon - contact Travellers Liason Officer (local Council should give you no.) and ask if they can help. Posters need to be sent to all vets in region (click on Vets on this page) and put up all over area a.s.a.p. - parks, schools, dog training clubs, pubs, shops, POs, ramblers assns., libraries, anywhere there are people! Give to postie, refuse collectors (& stick on bins), milkmen, paper delivery people. Contact Dog Wardens every day and Rehoming Centres - best to go and look or get someone who knows Summer to go as they don't always recognise the dog or get back to you. Not sure of local rehoming centre for Council in your area, but could be Meadowgreen Rescue Centre nr. Loddon 01508 548216. Here are some nos. to try, hope they're up to date: CARE Dog Rescue, Gorleston 01493 653955, Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, Snetterton 01953 498377, FAITH Animal Rescue, Hickling 01692 598312, Norfolk and Suffolk Animal Trust, Gt. Yarmouth 01493 843011, People for Animal Care Trust, Hingham 01362 820775, RSPCA Norwich 01603 766001, Second Chance Animal Trust , Norwich 01603 414429 or 0780 8741734. Tell her breed club as owners may get to hear about her, and also the Breed Rescue Club. Sorry I'm not in area but will take her poster to the Helmingham Dog Day in Suffolk at the week-end if she's not home by then. Keep safe, Summer. | 11/08/2008 | jimi |

You need to print off the poster from this site and poster everywhere, especially near where Summer disappeared from. Posters work, it only takes one person to see her and get in touch. Contact dog warden at the Council Offices, visit the local rescue centres/kennels in person, don't rely on phone calls. Great that she is chipped, that and the posters are her best way home. Good luck with the search, stay safe Summer, lovely girl xx
