Delete I'm so pleased to hear that Hywel is back home safe and sound and none the worst for his mini adventure. A big THANK YOU and well done to his finder(s) and to the kennels for helping to make sure that Hywel returned to his family. And what a lovely surprise birthday present for Daniel - HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL! Just one small request, could Hywel have a nice new shiny ID tag on his collar to compliment his chip as a welcome home present?!

Hi All,

Thanks for all your help these last 12 days, I can now confirm that we've thankfully found Hywel - I just collected him from Lodge Kennels in Baldock (thank you Margaret for contacting us so promptly, and thanks to the family who found him and handed him in).

Joyfully reunited with our 3 children - a happy coincidence as it is also our youngest's 7th birthday today (see...sometimes that wish you make when you blow out the candles does come true!).

Thanks again, we've really appreciated all your help and support.

Kind regards,

Paul, Lynne, Jessica, George and Daniel (7 today!), and of course Hywel x

email from helper

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost Hywel. I will keep a look out and let all my customers in the area know. If you have not done so it would be a good idea to notify all rescue centres, even ones that are not in the local area as dogs are sometimes found many miles from where they live. It may be worth putting a notice in the local newspaper, someone may be looking after him. If he is a nervous type it is more likely that he is hiding somewhere waiting for you to come and find him.

Don't give up, he is out there somewhere

Best of luck, Laura
